The New Woodward St

As of Wednesday last week, our Woodward St retail store has been trading with a very new look. The once small, dark space has been transformed into a light and welcoming new store front. Almost everything had to go, with only a handful of the old staying. Beneath a series of false ceilings, an old, grand and beautifully detailed plaster ceiling was revealed giving the store almost two meters of additional height. A simple fit out of second-hand Lundia shelving provides space for storage and stock, leaving the adjacent area free for Benn and Luke to interact with customers, without the hinderance of a traditional counter. Scattered throughout the store are vintage findings and assorted coffee memorabilia. A wet corner hosts the Clover coffee machine which is used for daily tastings and the morning’s essential cup. All-in-all the store feels fresh and new, and I know Benn, Luke and all the Supreme team love what has been produced. A huge thank you to Steven King Builders for their amazing work under the pressure of our demanding deadlines.
