Roasters R&D Lab
- Every week we sample roasts of both our wholesales and retail coffees in a continuous quality control programme.
- The cupping table being prepared for one of two staff up-skilling sessions that take place every week.
- The former cafe is a new espresso bar. Open 7:30am – 12:30pm
One of the projects for the roasting dept this year is to delve deeper in to the R&D side of what we do. Up until now Reagan, Justin and I have been limited to the small roasting office in the back of the factory. After much consideration the Factory cafe has been reduced to a small takeaway bar and the majority of the space has been assigned to the Research and Development Lab. We are hoping to generate some good insights and further our education into coffee with our new space.
