Day Made is our dedicated hospitality and retail site in the ever warm and sunny Queensland, in the heart of Woolloongabba.

We are looking for a hospitality professional to join the team!

Based in the kitchen, you'll be preparing, cooking and baking simple yet delicious wholesome food for our customers. Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen is a must...but you don't necessarily need to be a trained chef - it's more important to us to have an awesome person on the team who loves food, loves what we're about, understands our overall hospitality philosophy and is enthusiastic to be part of a team who wants to create something special.

We're a small team, so we all pitch in where required, and you might be asked to help out front from time to time too.

The hours required for Saturdays and Sundays 5:30am - 1:30pm - but further shifts may become available so ability to be flexible will be favoured.
Some of the main duties are:
  • Preparing and cooking delicious food
  • Following set standards for portion sizes, presentation etc
  • Participating in developing the menu in collaboration with others on the team
  • Following all set processes and SOPs in the kitchen
  • Greeting and serving customers
  • Taking orders and using the POS system
  • Delivering food and coffee to our customers
  • Clearing tables and other standard cafe tasks

Customer Care All Rounder
Melbourne, Australia
Full Time
Our office based customer care team provides a welcoming entry point for callers to Supreme, and is the main point of contact for customers, suppliers and other visitors. They also handle all administrative functions for Coffee Supreme.

We're looking for an energetic positive person who genuinely loves helping people to join the team in a Customer Care Administrator role. This would suit someone who is from the hospitality industry and wants to learn more about coffee supply from the other side. Strong computer skills, particularly in Google Apps, Word and Excel, attention to detail and the abilities to multitask and be proactive are essential to this role. You need to be able to keep a cool head in stressful situations too.

Examples of duties range from answering the phone and helping customers with orders, training enquiries and technical problems, through to chipping in with emptying the dishwasher and filling the fruit bowl.

This position is full time Monday to Friday.
Some of the main duties are:
  • Answering the phone and helping customers with their queries.
  • Entering orders into our system for despatch.
  • Liaising with couriers to follow up missing or delayed orders.
  • Actioning requests for machine servicing and training.
  • General admin tasks, such as preparing reports, maintaining files etc.
  • Contributing to keeping our shared spaces looking good.
  • Welcoming and assisting any customer, supplier or any other visitors to the roastery.
  • Assisting with any events we run.
  • Assisting the Office Manager with any other tasks as required.
  • Assisting with packing wholesale and retail orders and delivery runs as required
  • Ad hoc duties as required.
The successful applicant will:
