We're on the lookout for a Finance Assistant to work as a part of our dynamic, trans-Tasman Finance Team at our Wellington Office.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing accounting support. Your key responsibilities will include managing accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, intercompany reconciliations, data entry and month end processing.

This is an entry level position with scope to grow and develop your skills.

You will be knowledgeable in key accounting concepts and have a desire to gain further experience and understanding. You will also be customer focused and passionate about our products.
Some of the main duties are:
  • Systems Management - bank recs, fixed assets, stocktakes, inventory etc.
  • Management Accounting - weekly dashboard reports, journals, draft P&L reports.
  • Accounts Payable.
  • Taxation Returns.
  • Reporting and General accounting tasks.
The successful applicant will:
  • Be competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Have an understanding of accounting disciplines functionality (AP/AR/Bank Recs/GL/Journals).
  • Have an understanding of end to end transactional processes.
  • Have fast, accurate data entry skills.
  • Have absolute attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be super organised and work to deadlines.

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic hospitality professional to join our team at The Abbotsford Club, the cafe attached to our Melbourne roastery.

We believe hospitality and generosity form the backbone of any good coffee experience. We aim to combine creativity and hospitality to create products we love to serve.

This is a varied role that will include some time on the espresso machine, food preparation and time on the floor hosting our customers and ensuring they have an excellent experience.
