We have a small team of talented people based in Auckland, who provide Supreme service to our cafe customers throughout the Upper North Island, and we're now looking for an Account Manager / Trainer to join the team!

Training our cafe customers in espresso making is a major facet of the role, so we really need someone with very strong espresso-making skills, and who is a great communicator.

The account management portion of the role is really about providing exceptional customer care. We value building relationships with each individual customer so that we work together as a partnership to provide the best product available - from us to our customers and from our customers to their customers. We promise to provide generous support to ensure they sell the best cup of coffee in town.

This would really suit somebody with a proven background working in cafes, who is able to understand the pressures our customers face and respond to this with practical assistance and customer care.

The ordinary hours of work are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, but some hours outside of this may be required from time to time depending on our customers' needs.

Some travel (around 1 week per month) will be required in this role, and a full clean driver's licence is a must.

Some of the main duties are:
  • Overall responsibility for managing the customer relationship and ensuring that customers receive a high quality of customer service from Coffee Supreme.
  • Run a regular programme of visits to the customers in your portfolio and be their main point of contact.
  • Help our customers to run a successful coffee programme, and look for additional ways that we can help enhance their offer.
  • Train our customers to make outstanding coffee, using approved CSL techniques and approaches.
  • Organise training bookings, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure that customers are making coffee to a high standard, and give them a hand if they need it.
The successful applicant will:
  • Have strong customer service skills and an ability to relate to people from all walks of life.
  • Have a high level of espresso making skills in a commercial environment.
  • Have a sound knowledge of cafes and the hospitality business.
  • Have strong communication skills - both written and verbal.

We're looking for an energetic and dynamic person who can multitask like a CHAMP to come on board and support our Auckland team by taking on wholesale coffee training, office admin, despatch duties in the office and helping us provide exceptional hospitality to our customers.

This would suit a self-starting individual who is from the hospitality industry but looking to take the next step in building a career in coffee. This is a new entry-level wholesale role and has lots of potential for further development for the right person.
The role involves some heavy lifting and carrying out deliveries, so you'll need to be reasonably fit and strong, and have a full clean driver's license.

  • Liaising with cleaners, alarm people, rubbish etc.
  • Keep an overview of orders and ensure they are completed by a deadline.
  • Assembling customer orders in readiness for delivery and/or courier pick up.
  • Carrying out twice weekly and emergency deliveries to our customers.
  • Organising meetings and keeping minutes.
  • Assisting with events.

Sales Representative - Victoria

We're on the hunt for a new biz hustler with proven sales experience to join us.

You'll ideally be well-connected within the hospitality industry, possess a strong knowledge of the Melbourne and international coffee industry, have excellent barista skills, be approachable, have an optimistic outlook, be solutions focused and willing to go the extra mile or three to look after both prospective and existing customers.

Building and maintaining fantastic relationships is at the heart of this role.

To join and bring value to our team, you will need to be knowledgeable about coffee and the cafe industry. You will have proven sales skillz. You'll be kind, confident, a great listener, engaging and helpful with a strong focus on helping improve prospective customers' businesses.
We are looking for an extremely motivated, self-starter, who is able to work autonomously, and keen to muck in at-the-ready!

It's a full time role, requiring 38 hours of work per week. The ordinary hours of work will be between 7.30 and 4.30pm Monday to Friday, but some hours outside of this will be required from time to time depending on business needs and which exciting event we're holding next.

Travel within Victoria and sometimes beyond will be required in this role, and a full clean driver's licence is a must.
