Day Made is our dedicated hospitality and retail site in the ever warm and sunny Queensland, in the heart of Woolloongabba.

Based in the kitchen, you'll be preparing, cooking and baking simple yet delicious wholesome food for our customers. Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen is a must...but you don't necessarily need to be a trained chef - it's more important to us to have an awesome person on the team who loves food, loves what we're about, understands our overall hospitality philosophy and is enthusiastic to be part of a team who wants to create something special.

We're a small team, so we all pitch in where required, and you might be asked to help out front from time to time too.

The hours required for Saturdays and Sundays 5:30am - 1:30pm - but further shifts may become available so ability to be flexible will be favoured.
Some of the main duties are:
  • Preparing and cooking delicious food
  • Following set standards for portion sizes, presentation etc
  • Participating in developing the menu in collaboration with others on the team
  • Following all set processes and SOPs in the kitchen

This is a varied, part-time role that will include some time on the espresso machine, food preparation and time on the floor hosting our customers and ensuring they have an excellent experience.

Trainer & Account Manager

We're looking for an outgoing personality to join the training and account management team at Coffee Supreme Melbourne!

We need a confident person with a good knowledge of the Melbourne hospitality industry to help us provide expert, hands on service and a Supreme experience to our customer base of like-minded cafe owners and operators.

We're not in the business of merely throwing bags of coffee across the counter and servicing the machine - we value building relationships with each individual customer so that we work together as a partnership to provide the best product available. We will provide generous support to ensure our customers sell the best cup of coffee in town.

A major component of this role involves carrying out coffee training and education sessions with our customers, so our successful candidate will have advanced coffee making skills and knowledge of specialty coffee.

Managing and nurturing customer relationships, and helping our customers improve and grow their business through a solid coffee programme (and beyond!) is also a major part of the role - so this would really suit somebody with a proven background working in cafes, who is able to understand the pressures our customers face and respond to this with practical assistance and customer care.

There's a small sales component too, so any experience in that realm would be an advantage.

Our ideal candidate will also be a team player who is committed to helping the company achieve its goals by working beyond the day to day tasks and contributing at a higher level.

The ordinary hours of work are between 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, but some hours outside of this may be required from time to time depending on our customers' needs.

Some travel (around 3-4 days per month) will be required in this role, and a full clean driver's licence is a must.

  • Help our customers to run a successful coffee programme, and look for additional ways that we can help enhance their offer.

  • Swiftly respond to new business enquiries.
  • Proactively work on the winning of suitable new business accounts applying our targeted sales strategy.
  • Actively participate in marketing events and projects.
